We are the Lakefield Bakery on Queen. Baker “T” (Theresa) is a graduate of the Stratford Chef School. Her family were bakers in Holland and emigrated to Canada where they became bakers in Whitby, Ontario in the 1950’s.

     Theresa has studied pastry baking and other specialty items such as breads at the Durham culinary program. She has also visited bakeries around the world to help her discern the type of bakery that was her dream to open here in Lakefield, Ontario. I live here too!
